Description
The Phone Line Monitor comes in two types, (A) line plug-in card for one site and (B) monitor plug-in card for another site for Loop-V4200 9-port / AM3440-D device. The card is applicable for a telephone monitoring system. Voice coding can be selected as either A-law or mu-law. This unit can be used on systems running with 110 to 220 Vac or -48 Vdc power supply.
The V4200 and AM3440-D Phone Line Monitor card requires an external cable to support 4 –RJ11 ports for connecting telephone lines. LEDs provide channel setting and channel status indicators. Transmit & receive gains are programmable to 0, -3, -6, or +3 dB for PLM (A) or 0, -3, -6, or +7 dB for PLM (B).
